Make Money FreeLancing 0

How to make Money Freelancing? : These days, it seems like everyone needs more cash. Unemployment is skyrocketing in the United States, the economy is poor, and finding a job in this market is nearly impossible unless you have an absolutely stellar resume.

make Money Freelancing

Fortunately, there is one way to make quick money that doesn’t require a killer resume, or any type of cash investment, or any extremely specialized skills. All you need is a computer, an internet connection, and a decent grasp of website or graphics design, programming, or the English language. You should also be able to manage your time, work efficiently, and work without a boss looking over your shoulder.

I’m talking, of course, about freelancing. As a freelancer, you don’t have to spend any money to make money. Finding work is pretty simple unless you’re expecting to get paid $50+ per hour. And most people have some skills that can translate into cash.

Freelance Writing

The easiest way to make cash as a freelancer for most people is through writing. You’ll need to have a pretty decent grasp of the English language, including the proper use of spelling, punctuation, and grammar. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but it needs to be passable.

Freelance writers typically make about $3 to $10 per article for web content. You could make more writing for print publications, but those are significantly harder to get work with.

I know $3 doesn’t sound like a lot of money, but with practice you could easily churn out 3-5 articles per hour, which would earn you a minimum of $9 to $15 per hour. That’s not bad considering you can do it from home, you don’t have to fill out a job application or sit through an interview, and it’s about as easy as it gets as far as making some quick cash.

Plus, as you earn a reputation, build a portfolio of sample writing, and get some testimonials, you can raise the price you charge for your writing. You could easily be earning $7 to $10 per article in no time. That would mean you would be making $35 to $50 per hour. That’s definitely not bad!

I’ll show you some places to find work later, but for now let me tell you about a site that will pay you for articles. You can get some quick cash writing articles for Associated Content (Yahoo) if you’re in the United States. Unfortunately they don’t currently accept writers outside the U.S., but if you’re American they’ll pay you a few dollars for every article you write, and they will accept most articles if they’re on a good topic and well-written.

Freelance Website or Graphics Design

If you are a website or graphics designer, or if you’re able to hire someone to do the work for you, then you can make pretty good money doing designs for people.

You can get paid anywhere from $10 for an advertising banner up to a few hundred dollars for a complex website design. If you’re really good, you can get higher prices than normal, especially once you get some testimonials!

You’ll need to be able to show some samples of your work, so you’ll need a website where you can showcase it. You can send potential clients there to see your work, check out your prices, and contact you if they want to hire you.

You can also make some quick cash by creating websites for local businesses. Visit some of the local businesses in your area and talk to the owners. Ask them if they have a website, and if so, ask them how well it’s performing for them.

Even if they have a website already, they might be willing to pay you to make some changes, do some SEO work, or set up and email list for them so they can keep in touch with their customers.

Selling Turnkey Websites

If you don’t want to design sites for people on a custom basis, you could build websites and sell them. This is easier, in many ways, than building custom sites. You don’t have to worry about building the site to the customer’s specs. You build it your way, and if someone doesn’t like it, they just won’t buy it.

Freelance Programming

If you have any programming skills, there is a huge demand for quality programmers. It can be incredibly difficult to find an honest, reliable freelance programmer who will complete a job on time, do quality work, and won’t run off with your money, so there’s plenty of room for you to step in and get work.

Good programmers can get paid by the hour or by the job. It’s probably better for you personally to charge by the hour in case you run across a picky client who wants endless changes, but some people may want a firm quote based on the job.

Programming is very skilled work, so you can make a bit more for it than for writing or design. Just be aware that you will be competing with freelancers from around the world, and some of them may have less living expenses than you do.

Finding Work

Finding work is the toughest part of being a freelancer by far. Many freelancers have found it impossible to find enough work, because they just didn’t know where to go to find clients.

The first stop for many freelancers is the various freelancing and outsourcing sites. There are quite a few of them you can try, but you’ll be facing a lot of competition from all around the globe. Some people are writing articles for as little as $0.50 each on these sites! The quality is horrible at that price, but they still manage to get work.

Some freelancing sites to try:

A better way to get work is on the various internet marketing forums. These forums are full of successful marketers who need services like these! It can be pretty hard to find a good, reliable freelancer, so they’ll be more than willing to give you a chance. You can also get slightly better prices than you can on the freelance sites.

Don’t go spamming the forums with offers! You’ll need to follow their rules, and you may need to pay to post an ad to get business. But paying $10 or $20 is a drop in the bucket compared to the amount of money you can make from a single offer.

If you don’t have the cash to post an offer, you can try selling something on eBay. Just find something around your house that’s worth more than $20, sell it on eBay, and have the buyer pay you by PayPal. Then you can use that money to pay to list your offer!

Extra Tips for Freelancers

Freelancing isn’t quite as easy as it sounds. There are a few potential bumps and snags to look out for. I’m going to give you a few additional tips to help make your job a little bit easier.

1. Remove distractions by closing down your email and web browser, turning off your phone, and going behind locked doors if necessary.

2. Always make sure to stay in communication with clients, especially if you know their project is going to be a bit late. Most people will understand as long as you stay in touch with them. If you don’t, they will think you ran off with their money and they will get upset quickly.

3. Always do your very best to get projects completed on time. Repeat business is the bread and butter of the freelancer, so treat every customer well.

4. If you run into a client you can’t seem to please no matter what you do, or who expects too much, is abusive or rude, or who just makes you miserable, don’t be afraid to fire them. Don’t be rude. Just say, “I really don’t think we’re a good fit for each other. I’m refunding your money so you can find someone who is better able to help you.” People like this are not worth the hassle!

5. Offer very low prices in the beginning to build testimonials, references, and samples. Once you build a reputation, you can raise your prices.

Best Free Traffic Sources For Affiliate Marketing 2020 | Free Traffic Method 12

Free Traffic Sources For Affiliate Marketing :

Best Free Traffic Sources For Affiliate Marketing

No matter how good your website is, without enough traffic it will fail. It doesn’t matter how compelling your offer is, if your stats counter is like Tombstone before the outlaws ride in, you are just wasting your time and money putting the website up in the first place.

The good news is there are so many different ways of generating traffic now, you’re bound to find at least one that does the job for you. Hold on to your hat; you’re in for quite a ride!

Free or Paid Traffic – which is best for you!

I want to explain the key differences between free and paid traffic. Both are important weapons to keep in your traffic generation arsenal. Both have their pros and cons.

Let’s start with paid traffic

It’s often said that you get what you pay for, and when you pay for traffic you can get it in abundance. I suppose the main advantage of paid traffic is you can start getting visitors instantly. It’s just like flipping a switch. You’ll know exactly how much traffic you’re getting because (with most methods) you pay for each and every visitor. That means you can test your website’s conversion rate and tweak it right away. If your website has a pretty lousy conversion rate, you can pause the traffic while you make adjustments, then start it up again.

The downside to paid traffic is, of course, the cost. Sometimes you have to pay for traffic up-front, meaning that if your website isn’t converting well, it can be money down the drain. Even if your site is converting well, you need to have enough capital or credit to finance your campaign before the money starts rolling in. Some forms of paid traffic can be highly competitive, too. You may find yourself competing against large corporations with highly paid advertising agencies and million-dollar budgets.

All this might make you decide to opt for free traffic instead. Getting to the top spot on Google will mean that people see your site first. As long as it stays there, the traffic will keep rolling in.

However, there is a catch

It generally takes time to achieve results. Oftentimes free traffic isn’t really free. In fact, I’d go so far as to say that “free” traffic is a myth. Even if it doesn’t cost you any money upfront, it costs time (yours or someone else’s). If you’re having to pay somebody to generate this “free” traffic, it’s not really free.

Here are some popular sources of free traffic!

Like I said, it can take time (and sometimes a little money) to get traffic this way, but it’s worthwhile. I want to talk about free traffic methods now, and I’ll cover some paid-for methods later.

When people think about “free” traffic, the most popular source that comes to mind is getting a high ranking on Google and other search engines. This is achieved via search engine optimization (SEO). This is where you make your website attractive to the search engines so they’ll rank it highly. To be honest, I’ve always regarded SEO as a bit of a “dark art”. As Google and the other search engines change their algorithms regularly, you’re better off hiring an SEO expert to do the job instead of doing it yourself. Not exactly free, but cheap in the long run.

Another way to get free (or at least cheap) traffic is to simply ask for referrals. Ask your existing customers to recommend you to a friend, and offer them an inducement – such as a product with a low cost but high perceived value, or a discount voucher against future purchases – to encourage them. Again, this isn’t 100% free, and you have to already be getting some traffic and sales, but when that traffic comes with a recommendation, it means the customer is more likely to make a purchase.

One method that is completely free (in financial terms, anyway) is guest blogging. Here you find a popular blog in your niche, contact the owner and offer to write an article for them (gratis) in return for a link back to your site. This is a win-win situation for everybody. The site owner gets a blog post they don’t have to write, and you get credibility and traffic by being associated with an “authority” blog.

Some popular sources of paid traffic!

Now! I want to tell you about some popular sources of paid traffic. Note that “paid” doesn’t necessarily mean expensive; in fact, if you play your cards right, the cost could be measured in pennies!

Free Traffic Method

Probably the most popular type of paid traffic comes from Google Ads. This used to be called Google AdWords and are (basically) those want-ad style advertisements you see at the top and down the right-hand side of the search results in Google.

This type of advertising is known as Pay-Per-Click (PPC). As the name would imply, this means that you only pay when somebody clicks the link in the ad that takes them to your website. If nobody clicks, you don’t pay anything. Exactly how much you DO pay depends on how competitive the search term (or “keyword”) is. The more popular the keyword, the more expensive each click will be.

Facebook Ads are another great way of getting paid traffic. They are PPC like Google Ads and work in a similar way, appearing on potential customers Facebook Timelines.

There is, however, one key difference between Google Ads and Facebook Ads.

Because Facebook collects so much information about each Facebook user, you are able to get really specific about who sees your ad. Not only does this mean that potential customers are more likely to click on your ad, but (provided your website converts well) they are much more likely to make a purchase. In the early days you can use Facebook Ads to tweak your site copy and get your conversion rates up because you’ll know for certain that only people from your target audience are visiting your site.

Finally, there are solo mailings. These work in a similar way to guest blog posts, but here you pay a mailing list owner (more about that tomorrow) to send your article directly to their list members’ inboxes. Just like with Facebook Ads, you can be sure only potential customers visit your site from such a mailing.

The money’s in the list!

Earlier I touched on mailing lists, and today I want to delve a bit more into this subject because your mailing list can be the most important weapon in your traffic generating armory. In fact, it’s no exaggeration to say that your mailing list could go on to be your business’s most valuable asset.

Let me explain

Free Traffic Method

It doesn’t matter how hard you try; you’re never going to get a 100% conversion rate for your website. It just doesn’t happen. Some people will visit your website, take a look around and then click away. Unless you give them a reason to return, they’ll likely never come back again.

The same goes for people who DO make a purchase. Even if they’re satisfied with the purchase, chances are they won’t come back and buy anything else from you – unless you remind them.

This is the key!

I’m sure you’ve heard the saying “Out of sight, out of mind”. With a mailing list you can remind people about who you are. You can e-mail them useful information to establish your credibility as an authority in your niche. Perhaps most importantly, you can notify them about new products or services. This means you can encourage them to visit your website over and over again – even when they weren’t planning on doing so. Instant recurring traffic!

In case you’re thinking: Sending out all those e-mails is going to be a real hassle! Let me reassure you that’s not the case. You can use services called autoresponders to automate the entire process.

Get sociable, get traffic!

Now Let’s talk to you about why you should be using social media to get traffic to your website. According to Pew Research Center, today more than seven-in-ten Americans use social media to connect with one another, engage with news content, share information and entertain themselves.

Just take a moment to let that fact sink in

Free Traffic Sources For Affiliate Marketing

A whopping 72% of people in the United States connect with social media. That rises to nearly 90% of people in the 18-29 age demographic.

That means if you want to get noticed, you MUST be on social media. We’re talking platforms like:

Facebook

Twitter

Instagram

Pinterest

Linked-in

And so on

Probably the easiest social media to start with is Twitter. These short messages of up to 280 characters grab peoples’ attention. They don’t take long to read. They don’t take long to write, either! This means you can stay active, build a following and share information every day without it taking up too much of your time. If your tweet is interesting enough, your followers may re-tweet it to their followers spreading your message far and wide. This can encourage people who may not have heard of you, or would not be otherwise inclined to visit your site, to stop by and check you out.

If you have a WordPress blog, you can get a plugin that puts your most recent tweets in the sidebar. This counts as new content for SEO purposes and can help your rankings on Google and other search engines.

If your site is more visual than wordy, consider Pinterest or Instagram as your preferred social media. Both allow you to share photos and memes. Like Twitter your followers can re-share them with their followers. If an image “goes viral” it can spread across the globe very quickly.

That’s one pandemic I don’t mind getting caught up in!

Make Facebook your secret weapon!

Most people have heard of Facebook. Millions of people are on Facebook – perhaps you’re one of them.

The thing is, though

Free Traffic Sources For Affiliate Marketing

Not many people realize the full potential Facebook has to drive traffic to their websites. People check their Facebook page and sometimes share stuff with others, but you can do WAY more than that.

For example, have you heard of Facebook Groups?

As part of a Facebook Group you can share information about common interests and express your opinion. They allow people to come together around a common cause, issue or activity. You can organize, express objectives, discuss issues, post photos, and share related content.

You could participate in a Facebook Community. This is a Facebook page dedicated to a topic or experience and is owned collectively by the community connected to it. Just like Facebook Groups, a Facebook Community lets you connect with others who share similar interests and experiences.

Alternatively, you could participate in a Facebook Forum. A Facebook Forum is a bit like a regular online forum. If you have ever used one, you’ll already know how useful they can be to everyone. You can use a Facebook forum to discuss topics, ask questions or provide answers.

All this brings you to the attention of a lot more people than you would normally interact with – your Facebook friends etc.

Are you starting to see the potential here?

The trick is to build your authority by sharing your tips so people will get to know, like, and trust you. Just ignite their curiosity and that will lead them to your website.

Within the confines of this short e-course I’ve only been able to scratch the surface of this fascinating subject.

Best Email Marketing For Beginners | E-mail Marketing 2020 0

The Best Email Marketing For Beginners : List building is the process of building a mailing list and this is something that any business or marketer should be adept in. So exactly is a mailing list? That would be a collection of e-mails that you will acquire through a website and/or through other means and which you can then use in order to promote and sell products.

The great thing about these lists is that they consist of people who have willingly given you their e-mail addresses and thus given you permission to contact you. They will have visited your website or blog, so you know they’re interested in your niche or whatever it is you are trying to sell. What’s more, the fact that you can message them at will means that you will be able to develop a relationship with them, building trust and interest to the point where they are feverish to buy.

It’s for these reasons that list building is widely considered to be one of the most effective tools available to businesses as well as internet marketers.

Any marketing ‘guru’ will recommend this as one of the most important methods available and potentially it is the best and easiest route to making big money online.

The only problem is that building a massive e-mail list isn’t necessarily as easy as you might hope it would be. That’s where this book comes in to help you build a massive and relevant list quickly. In just 30 days, you’ll have a list that’s 1,000 strong and EVERYONE on that list will be a potential buyer who will be interested in everything you have to say and everything you have to sell.

1,000 broken down is just 34 subscribers a day. Achievable? You bet! In just a year, you could very well have a list of 12,000 subscribers.

So congratulations, in buying this book you have taken the first bold step towards dominating e-mail marketing. Are you ready to take the next?

The Benefits of List Building

So what is list building all about? Why is it so powerful and such an important tool for marketers?

It comes down to a few factors. Most importantly, list building gives you the means to contact a huge roster of relevant potential leads and customers. This is what will then give you the means to start e-mail marketing – which is actually a huge asset on your journey to getting profits and sales. E-mail marketing is one of the most profitable types of marketing available and one of the most popular. Just take a look at the statistics:

E-mail marketing has a ‘return on investment’ of 4,300%

91% of web users check their e-mail AT LEAST once a day

When surveyed, companies rate e-mail marketing as being more profitable than: PPC advertising, content marketing, affiliate marketing, display advertising, mobile ads, social media marketing or direct marketing!

66% of US consumers above the age of 15 say they have made purchases as the direct result of an e-mail campaign

1/3rd of consumers say they open e-mails based on the heading alone!

Perhaps the most outstanding of these figures is that amazing ROI (return on investment). How can e-mail marketing possibly net you 4,300% returns? Of course the answer all comes down to the incredible low entry price. Building a list costs you very little as you will see – but because you’re communicating personally with an audience that wants to hear from you, the conversion rate is very high.

Email Marketing For Beginners

There are other ways you can perform e-mail marketing of course, with the most popular being the use of ‘solo ads’ – adverts that you send to existing lists. Otherwise you can simply gather e-mails from various sources and create a list that way that you can contact ‘cold’.

In every case though, using proper list building techniques is by far the preferable scenario. Why? Because it means that the readers will have actually given you their e-mail addresses. This creates a subtle but VERY powerful psychological shift. Instead of being annoyed to hear from you, they will be expecting to hear from you.

When they see your name in their inbox it will spark recognition and they may even then be excited to see what you have to say. What’s more, they will have read your website or they will have seen you on social media – already you will have then demonstrated yourself to be a good authority on your subject and you’ll already have demonstrated value to that audience.

What’s more, because you’re not contacting your audience through another platform such as Facebook, you completely control the relationship and

there is no way that changes from above can cause you to lose your contacts.

Once you’ve done this and you have built a large list of people who are genuinely interested in what you have to say, the next step is to then monetize your mailing list and to get your readers to become customers. You don’t do this right away though – this isn’t a simple matter of sending a message out and begging everyone to buy your product. Instead, you need to think carefully about how best to approach your list, how to establish a relationship and a rapport with them and how to get them to look forward to your messages and to trust what you have to say.

This is the other BIG advantage of building a mailing list – it allows you to reach your audience right in their inbox at any time of day with a personalized message. This personal touch then has potentially a much greater chance of getting them to where you want them to be psychologically.

The absolute masters of email marketing will use a sequence of e-mails that gradually builds anticipation for their product, that develops and establishes trust and that then eventually hits home with a highly converting sales letter. This is the kind of mastery you’ll have learned by the end of this Article!

So now you know what you have to do. The next question is
how do you go about doing it?

In the title of this ebook we set out a very clear objective: to gain a 1,000- strong mailing list within 30 days. This objective is for everyone. You don’t need to already have a website with tons of regular visitors (in which case it will be easy for you), you don’t need to have another mailing list already and you won’t need to have any powerful contacts in the digital marketing industry (though of course all these things help!).

This strategy will work for anyone and you should find that a mailing list of 1,000 is completely ample when it comes to making conversions. With 1,000 subscribers you should expect to be able to get conversions of at least 0.5-1%. Realistically that means 50-100 buyers – which if you have a

$30 digital product will net you $3,000 a pop. That’s not bad going and it’s certainly not a bad wage for one month of work!

0.5-1% conversions is a realistic and modest target. What’s more, 1,000 subscribers is something you can very likely gun for successfully as we’ll see. But it doesn’t stop there: once you have that first 1,000 you’ll find you start to get exponential gains. The more subscribers you build, the more you will continue to build as you gather momentum, get the hang of it and leverage your existing contacts.

If you got 1,000 subscribers every month for the next year, then you would have 12,000 by the end of it – which is a pretty hefty list. More likely though, you’ll find that your rewards double each month. Month one you’ll get 1,000, month two will be 2,000 and so on. If you followed that pattern, then by the end of the year you would have
 well
 a lot.

To gain 1,000 subscribers in 30 days, you would need about 33 (point three recurring) new subscribers every day. Let’s call it 34. That might sound like a lot but this isn’t really the way you should be thinking about it.

Best Email Marketing

What you’ll find is that you’re much more likely to get 200 in one day and 500 in another. You might have a couple of days where you get none. We’ll be using different strategies throughout the month and you’ll find it’s almost impossible to predict which ones will be the big winners for you.

So that’s the plan and the aim. 1,000 subscribers. 30 days. Before you read on, I want you to completely commit to this objective. At times it will be tough and there will of course be work involved – but once you get the hang of it and once the subscribers start coming in it will be more than worth it. A huge mailing list can actually set you up for life and you can end up as one of those ‘super affiliates’ living on the beach and using your private jet to visit Mum. And it all starts here.

So make that pledge, then read on!

The first step towards your huge list is going to be signing up to a few essential services and getting a few tools. You can’t build and manage a list all on your lonesome, so read on and we’ll look at some of the things you’ll need to get this ball rolling. Consider this a little bit like the ingredients for the recipe we’re about to make.

Autoresponder

The first and most important thing you will need to build and manage your mailing list is an autoresponder. An autoresponder is basically a tool that lets you send e-mails out to large groups of people, that stores your addresses and that lets you easily manage them. Autoresponders also allow you to easily build your own opt-in forms which are the little forms you’ll place on your site for people to join up.

These are necessary for a few different reasons. For starters, a professional looking opt-in form will make your mailing list seem more professional. This in turn will mean that people are more likely to be interested in signing up and it will mean that they’ll expect higher quality. Make the form yourself and you risk making it look a little like an amateurish job – so use a professional tool instead.

Moreover though, it’s simply impossible to manage a huge mailing list without one of these tools. When you run a mailing list, you need to protect yourself against spam, you need to make sure that people confirm their interest in signing up and you need to give people the opportunity to unsubscribe. You’ll also probably want to send out a welcome message to all your new members.

With an autoresponder all this is made much easier. Autoresponders will handle all these different jobs automatically, meaning that you don’t have to manually add and remove people from your list or manually welcome new members. If you were to at some point have a mailing list of hundreds of thousands of members you’d end up spending all day adding and removing people from your list – and that’s why you need an autoresponder to do it for you.

Create a Lead Magnet & Sales Funnel [ Affiliate Marketing Funnel ] 0

Create a Lead Magnet ? Ok!!! it’s time to think about creating your offer, which many people refer to as your “lead magnet”. It’s kind of like fishing, where your leads are the fish, and your lead magnet is the bait that lures them in.

Remember, this offer should appeal directly to your chosen demographic. You can’t expect to catch a catfish with a flashy lure meant for bass. While it’s possible, it’s not likely, and you’d stand a much better chance of catching a catfish with something that is known to appeal to them—such as chicken livers, or earthworms, or stink bait.

Try to think about what might appeal to your target audience. What would they be interested in learning that they don’t already know? What would they be interested in getting a discount on?

Most people create a special report as their lead magnet. It’s usually 10-20 pages, but may be up to 50 or so, depending on how much you want to say. Longer reports are more appropriate when you have a complex subject and aren’t selling information on the topic.

For example, if you’re in real estate and selling houses, you can give away a 50-page guide on how to find the perfect house, including information about stuff like zoning regulations, homeowners’ associations, utilities, road frontage, home inspections, etc.

But if you’re selling a course on SEO, a shorter report, say 20 pages, on a small segment of the topic would be much more appropriate, because you don’t want to give away all your information for free.

You can always outsource the creation of your lead magnet, or purchase a high-quality PLR product that you can use. This will save you a lot of time.

You might also consider just offering a hefty discount coupon to leads, especially if you have a product that is in demand in your niche. This is especially useful if you have a recurring business model or a sales funnel with upsells that will allow you to use the initial sale as a loss leader and make more money on the back end later.

Once you have your lead magnet ready, be sure to add a link to it to your autoresponder service as a follow-up after people opt-in. You don’t want to have to send all those freebies out manually!

Check your autoresponder’s help files to find out how to set up a follow-up email that contains a link to your lead magnet. The process will be slightly different for each service, but it’s not difficult. It’s about as easy as sending an email.

Then it’s time to create the squeeze page to promote it!

Create a Lead MagnetThe Squeeze Page

Your squeeze page is your lead generation page. This is a web page created specifically to collect information from people and once they do, your autoresponder will direct them to the page where they can download their freebie.

Create a Lead Magnet

This page should be relatively short. It’s not like a long sales letter. People don’t need that much convincing when something is free, but they do need some. After all, they don’t want to give up their personal contact details unless they really think your lead magnet will benefit them.

For this reason, squeeze pages should have just enough information to entice the reader into taking action. If it’s too long, people will get bored and leave before they opt in!

Generally speaking, a squeeze page should consist of:

  • Headline â€“ This needs to immediately capture their attention and persuade them to continue reading.
  • Sub-headline – This provides a little more information and works as your headline’s supporting agent.
  • Bullet points – Quick, digestible highlights about how your prospect benefits by subscribing to your newsletter, or entering your funnel.
  • A call-to-action – A direct prompt that instructs your prospect how to complete the process of signing up for your free offer.
  • Your lead generation form – usually generated by your autoresponder service or lead generation service with various form fields and a button to submit the information.

Quick Tip: ELIMINATE YOUR WORKLOAD
You can sign up to a service that provides monthly lead generation packages that include squeeze pages, high quality content that you can send out to your list, and everything else you need to start collecting leads and building your backend system.

Information to Collect

Most people collect only the name and email address of their leads, but you might need more information than that, depending on your niche market, and whether you wish to further segment your lists and identify potential customers through demographic based data.

Create a Lead Magnet

The name and address of potential customers is probably enough information for general marketing purposes, but what if you’re selling a higher-end product or service like real estate or legal services, or something that requires one-on-one contact like coaching, you’ll want to begin collecting as much information as possible to help you better connect with potential customers.

In cases like this, it’s probably a better idea to ask for name, address, telephone number, and email. You might even need additional information, such as date of birth (if you’re selling something for adults only, for example) or even more detailed information, such as the breed of dog they own, or their income. You don’t want to ask for too much information—which will just cause people to get frustrated and leave without filling out your form—but you want to get just enough information to make sure they’re qualified.

In other words, what information do you really need to know upfront, and what can you gather later in the selling process?

Once your squeeze page is set up, and you’ve added the lead magnet to your autoresponder service, it’s time to start sending traffic to your squeeze page!
